Sherien Abdou

Egypt Country Director

Serving GFW as Country Director of Egypt, Sherien Abdou is a strategic development and M&E specialist with 16+ years of experience in international development across Egypt and the MENA region. She holds an MBA and is currently preparing for a DBA in Global management. Her work spans USAID, EU, and NGO-funded programs, with expertise in strategic planning, policy design, and performance analysis. As Operations Manager at WISALA project, she oversees implementation, financial management, and compliance. Sherien has led initiatives on gender, inclusion, and climate resilience, and regularly represents her organization in national and regional forums.
